Mechanical engineer for the building industry

Our division is currently looking for an engineer with expertise in building mechanics to support all services offered, such as: energy efficiency modeling, legal expertise, technical inspections, project management and more!

Are you concerned about the environment and want to take part in stimulating projects related to energy efficiency?

You will have the opportunity to participate in diversified mandates, including a sustained presence in the field, by intervening in all necessary phases. Here is an overview of the challenges that will be entrusted to you:

  • Participate in expertise and modeling projects related to large residential buildings;
  • Interpret plans, drawings and technical specifications for various aspects of the building;
  • To carry out the plans/quotes (and related calculations) in direct link with the mechanical system of the building;
  • Provide consulting services and write reports according to energy efficiency principles;
  • Communicate results to clients, inform and provide recommendations as needed;
  • Estimate the costs, including materials required, for the execution of the work;
  • Supervise and monitor construction projects.

You have:
  • A university degree in a discipline related to building mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, or any other related field;
  • Proof of membership in a professional order (OIQ);
  • Proven knowledge in energy simulation;
  • A minimum of three years of relevant engineering experience.

  • Pragmatic and Analytical;
  • Able to work in confined spaces or at height.
