This means that you can increase your financial assistance by accessing two levels of grants for your energy-efficient renovations. This assistance is complemented by the Canada Green Housing Grant, and helps with the most significant renovations recommended by an energy advisor. In this way, homeowners can improve the energy performance of their homes while reducing their environmental footprint.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e1dcd6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9e1dcd6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Maximum:<\/strong> $40,000<br><strong>Minimum:<\/strong> $5,000<br><strong>Terms of repayment:<\/strong> 10 years, interest free<br><strong>Type of loan:<\/strong> Unsecured personal loan, on approved credit<\/p>\n<p>The maximum eligible loan amount is determined based on the renovations selected in your application, as well as the estimates for those renovations. The eligible amount is capped in accordance with industry and market standards. The maximum loan amount may be less than the estimated cost of the work, in which case you will be responsible for financing the difference.<\/p>\n<p>Only one loan may be granted per eligible property and per owner-occupant.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that this loan can only finance products and installations that are recommended by an energy advisor and that are eligible for the grant. In response to this challenge, the Canadian government has developed the Canadian Green Home Grant program, pledging an investment of nearly $2.6 billion over the next seven years.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-83dea5d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"83dea5d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Canadian grant is designed to encourage households to undertake energy-efficient renovations and upgrades to their homes such as:  <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Replace an oil furnace with a high-efficiency one or <strong>a heat pump<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n<li>Replace air-permeable doors and windows;<\/li>\n\n<li>Improve wall, basement or roof insulation;<\/li>\n\n<li>Install a high efficiency water heater;<\/li>\n\n<li>Install solar panels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In concrete terms, it allows you to access :  <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial assistance of up to $5,000 for ecological renovations;  <\/li>\n\n<li>An evaluation <a href=\"https:\/\/expertbatiment.ca\/en\/efficiency\/energuide\/\">\n
