It consists of a visual inspection of all the components of the interior and exterior. Whether it is a residential or commercial building, the assessment is established following the visit of an expert, who is able to make a diagnosis on each of the elements verified.<\/p>\n\n<p>Before making any major changes, it&#8217;s a good idea to carry out a health check to avoid unpleasant surprises during the course of the work, but above all to ensure the safety of the premises and its occupants.  <\/p>\n\n<p>A complete report summarizing all components requiring maintenance, repair, refurbishment or replacement is submitted at the end of the mandate.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The health check-up allows you to :  <\/h4>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To have a better management of the assets;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know the general health of the building;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>List items that require special attention;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish priorities for future repair work;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate the budgetary management of maintenance and\/or necessary work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong><u>List of items targeted during a building health check  <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General condition of the premises<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Land<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foundation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outer shell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roofing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Doors, windows, skylights and other openings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Universal access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garage and other buildings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Heating, cooling and mechanical ventilation system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plumbing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electricity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>This list applies to both private and common spaces depending on the type of building.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Is it different for a condominium?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#f0d4c1\">Yes, it is slightly different.
