Asbestos management
In Quebec, it is not uncommon to find asbestos-containing materials in the construction components, installations and equipment of all types of buildings, whether residential, commercial, industrial or institutional. These materials are rarely identified or labeled, so it can be quite difficult, if not impossible, to determine which materials contain them without an expert. At Expertbâtiment, we can do a complete inspection of your building in order to identify and locate asbestos-containing flockings and lagging.
For your information, a flock is a mixture of friable materials sprayed on to cover a surface, most often for thermal insulation purposes.
Insulation is an insulating material that covers a facility or equipment, often pipes, to prevent heat loss.
